SHRI BIPLAB KUMAR DEB Will the PRIME MINISTER be pleased to state:- (a) the details and current status of nuclear energy production in the country along with the nuclear energy produced during the last five years, year-wise; and (b) the details of specific measures undertaken by the Government for achieving the 100 GW nuclear power capacity target by 2047? ANSWER THE MINISTER OF STATE FOR PERSONNEL, PUBLIC GRIEVANCES & PENSIONS AND PRIME MINISTER’S OFFICE (DR. JITENDRA SINGH) (a) Presently, there are 24 nuclear power plants (excluding RAPS-1) in commercial operation in the country with a total capacity of 8,780 MW.
