(a) the details of the physical progress of water supply and water body
rejuvenation projects under the Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and
Urban Transformation 2.0 (AMRUT 2.0) in Assam;
(b) the details regarding the number of households in cities where
sewerage and tap water connections are still pending under AMRUT
2.0 in Assam;
(c) the details regarding the number of projects sanctioned and
completed for stormwater drainage in Guwahati under AMRUT 2.0
along with the funds sanctioned and utilised for the same; and
(d) the details of the number of projects in Assam under AMRUT Mitra
along the number of women engaged for the same?

(a) to (d) Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation
(AMRUT) 2.0 was launched on 01 October 2021 in all Urban Local Bodies
(ULBs)/ cities, enabling the cities to become 'self-reliant' and 'water
secure'. Providing universal coverage of sewerage and septage
management in 500 AMRUT cities is one of the major focus areas of
AMRUT 2.0. Rejuvenation of water bodies and development of green
spaces and parks are other components of the Mission. Under AMRUT 2.0,
States/ Union Territories (UTs) are empowered to select, appraise,
prioritise and implement the projects.
Under AMRUT 2.0, the State of Assam has taken up 24 water supply
projects worth ₹876.16 crore, 02 sewerage and septage management
projects worth ₹67.34 crore and 31 water body rejuvenation projects
worth ₹18.48 crore. Approved projects under AMRUT 2.0 cover 1.35 lakh
tap connections and 3,478 sewer connections.

water supply and water body rejuvenation projects are given in
ANNEXURE.
Under AMRUT Mitra initiative, 41 projects of the State have been
approved, which involve 340 women members of Self Help Groups (SHGs)
as reported by the State on AMRUT 2.0 portal.
