BYREDDY SHABARI: SHRI APPALANAIDU KALISETTI: Will the Minister of HOUSING AND URBAN AFFAIRS be pleased to state: (a) the details of urban infrastructure projects financed by the Housing and Urban Development Corporation (HUDCO) during the last five years, year and State-wise; (b) the funds sanctioned and disbursed by HUDCO for such projects during the said period, year and State-wise; (c) the physical progress and completion status of HUDCO approved projects along with the reasons for delays, if any; (d) whether HUDCO has conducted any capacity-building or training programmes for State Government officials, particularly in Andhra Pradesh and if so, the details thereof along with the number of programmes conducted, participants trained and themes covered, year-wise; and (e) the details of the housing schemes funded by HUDCO including the names of schemes, States covered, the number of beneficiaries and the financial assistance provided? ANSWER THE MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF HOUSING AND URBAN AFFAIRS (SHRI TOKHAN SAHU) (a): The State-wise details of housing and urban Infrastructure projects financed by Housing and Urban Development Corporation (HUDCO) during the last five years is at Annexure-A. (b) and (c): The State-wise details of loan sanctioned and disbursed by HUDCO during the last five years along with status of HUDCO approved projects is at Annexure-B. …2/--2- (d): The training/capacity-building programmes conducted by HUDCO for the State Government officials including state of Andhra Pradesh during last five years is as under: I. HUDCO has launched Urban Invest Window (UiWIN) on 8th November, 2025 as a one stop solution to support Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) and other stakeholders in project development, financing and capacity-building for urban infrastructure. Under UiWIN, HUDCO has conducted various capacity-building workshops and knowledge-sharing programmes for State Government/ ULB officials, including the state of Andhra Pradesh, details of which along with participants trained and themes covered are at Annexure – C. II. HUDCO’s Human Settlement Management Institute (HSMI) had conducted two online training programmes for ULBs/ State Agencies/ Development Authorities on ‘Financial Strengthening of ULBs’ and ‘Sustainable Development Goals mapping for Swachh Bharat Mission’ which were attended by 132 professionals from various stakeholders across the country including the state of Andhra Pradesh. III. In addition, HSMI in collaboration with CITYNET had conducted two online training programs on ‘Sustainable Infrastructure Development Management’ and ‘Disaster Risk Reduction and Resilience in Cities’ for various stakeholders across the country including the state of Andhra Pradesh which were attended by 84 professionals. (e): HUDCO extends loan assistance to the borrowing/ implementing agency and not to individual beneficiary directly.
