SHRI GYANESHWAR PATIL: प(cid:282)े ो(cid:871)लयम और (cid:292)ाकृ(cid:467)तक गैस म(cid:287)ं ी Will the Minister of PETROLEUM AND NATURAL GAS be pleased to state: (a) the number of proposals received and approved for setting up of bio-ethanol projects under the Pradhan Mantri G-VAN (Jaiv Indhan Vatavaran Anukool Fasal Awashesh Nivaran) Yojana, especially from Madhya Pradesh; (b) the details of financial assistance approved and disbursed till date for approved bio-ethanol projects supported under Pradhan Mantri G-VAN Bio-Ethanol Projects, State-wise; (c) the details of the physical progress of the selected bio-ethanol projects and the proposed timeline for their completion; (d) whether there has been any delay in completion of bio-ethanol projects; and (e) if so, the details thereof along with the steps taken by the Government to address such delays? ANSWER प(cid:282)े ो(cid:871)लयम और (cid:292)ाकृ(cid:467)तक गैस म(cid:287)ं ालय म(cid:581) रा(cid:207)यम(cid:287)ं ी ((cid:302)ी सुरेश गोपी) MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF PETROLEUM & NATURAL GAS (SHRI SURESH GOPI) (a) to (e): Government have notified the “Pradhan Mantri JI-VAN (Jaiv Indhan - Vatavaran Anukool fasal awashesh Nivaran) Yojana” 2019, amended in 2024, to provide financial support for setting up Advanced Biofuels projects in the country using lignocellulosic biomass and other renewable feedstock. 14 commercial scale proposals and 8 demonstration scale proposals have been received of which 8 commercial scale projects and 5 demonstration scale projects have been approved. None of the proposals were from Madhya Pradesh among the aforesaid proposals. Subsequent to amendment in PM JI-VAN Yojana in 2024, fresh proposals for assistance for setting up of advanced biofuel projects have been invited with 6th August 2025 as the last date for submission of proposals. Till now, 6 number of proposals (3 commercial projects & 3 number Demo projects) have been received, including one proposal from the State of Madhya Pradesh.The details of financial assistance approved, disbursed and timeline for completion of approved bio-ethanol project under PM JI-VIAN Yojana are as under : Sl.
