Will the Minister of HOUSING AND URBAN AFFAIRS be pleased to state:
(a) the details of the number of proposals received and approved under
the Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT),
State-wise;
(b) the details of the funds sanctioned and disbursed thereunder during
each of the last three years, State-wise;
(c) the details of the number of works approved and completed in Andhra
Pradesh under the said mission during the said period, city-wise; and
(d) the details of the funds sanctioned and disbursed for these works in
Andhra Pradesh during the said period, city-wise?

(a) & (b): Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT)
was launched on 25 June 2015 in selected 500 cities (485 cities including
15 merged cities) and towns across the country. The Mission focuses on
development of basic infrastructure, in the selected cities and towns, in the
sectors of water supply; sewerage and septage management; storm water
drainage; green spaces and parks; and non-motorized urban transport. As
reported by the State/ Union Territories (UTs) on AMRUT portal, against the
plan size of ₹77,640 crore approved under AMRUT, 6,010 projects worth
₹83,483 crore have been taken up. State-wise details of approved Plan size
and works taken up under AMRUT is given in ANNEXURE I.
Against the approved plan size of ₹77,640 crore under AMRUT, the
committed Central Assistance (CA) was ₹36,035.79 crore of which ₹34,901
crore has been released so far to the States/ UTs. State-wise details of CA
sanctioned for projects under AMRUT for the entire Mission period and
released during each of the last three Financial Years is given in ANNEXURE
II.

(c) & (d): Under AMRUT, central funds are allocated/ released to States/ UTs
and not City-wise. Against the committed CA of ₹1,056.62 crore under
AMRUT for the State of Andhra Pradesh, ₹1,049.89 crore has been released.
As reported by the State on AMRUT portal, the State of Andhra Pradesh has
taken up 226 projects worth ₹3,333.76 crore, of which, works worth
₹2,742.18 crore have been physically completed. City wise details of
projects under AMRUT in the State of Andhra Pradesh is given in ANNEXURE
