Dr. M P Abdussamad Samadani: Will the Minister of AYUSH be pleased to state: (a) whether the Government recognizes Kalarichikitsa (the traditional healing and musculoskeletal treatment system associated with Kalaripayattu) as an independent or specialized branch of traditional medicine and if so, the details thereof; (b) whether there are any active proposals or expert committees currently evaluating the formal integration of Kalarichikitsa under the AYUSH (Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy) framework and if so, the details thereof; (c) the steps being taken by the Government to document, scientifically validate and preserve the unique pharmacological and orthopedic practices of Kalarichikitsa; (d) whether the Government plans to introduce institutionalized training, certification, or research grants for Kalarichikitsa practitioners to prevent the extinction of this ancient knowledge system; and (e) if so, the details thereof and if not, the reasons therefor?
