Will the Minister of HOUSING AND URBAN AFFAIRS be pleased
to state:
(a) whether the Government has any proposal under consideration
to shift a large number of Government and non-Government
offices and factories from Delhi to Meerut with a view to
reducing pollution, congestion and space constraints in the
National Capital; and
(b) if so, the details thereof along with the time by which such a
proposal is likely to be implemented?
