Will the Minister of Women and Child Development be pleased to state:
(a) the detailed representation of persons belonging to Unreserved, Other Backward
Classes, Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes categories at all levels (Group A,
B, C and D) in the Ministry of Women and Child Development, including its attached
and subordinate offices, as on 1 July, 2025;
(b) the specific measures being taken by the Ministry to ensure adequate representation
of officers belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward
Classes, particularly at senior decision-making levels;
(c) the current status of backlog vacancies earmarked for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled
Tribes and Other Backward Classes in the Ministry; and
(d) whether any special recruitment drives/initiatives have been undertaken during the
last three years to fill these vacancies, if so, the details thereof?

Institute of Women and Child Development (SPNIWCD), which includes reserved
posts also.
