SHRI KULDEEP INDORA Will the Minister of CIVIL AVIATION be pleased to state:- (a) the reasons for not resuming the scheduled flight operations at Lalgarh Jatan Airport in Sri Ganganagar-Hanumangarh Lok Sabha Constituency of Rajasthan since flight operations were suspended on safety grounds following the private aircraft accident in August 2018; (b) whether the Government is aware that the said airport can play an important role in meeting the air connectivity needs of Sri Ganganagar, Hanumangarh of Rajasthan and adjoining areas of Punjab and Haryana and if so, the details thereof; (c) whether the Government has proposed or approved any plan for runway expansion, upgradation of safety standards and development of necessary infrastructure at Lalgarh Jatan Airport and if so, the details thereof; and (d) the timeline fixed by the Government for commencement of scheduled commercial flight services from the said airport?
