CHANDRA SHEKHAR: SHRI HANUMAN BENIWAL: SHRI BABU SINGH KUSHWAHA: Will the Minister of HEAVY INDUSTRIES be pleased to state: (a) the details and total number of Government cement companies/factories currently operational in the country, State and location-wise; (b) whether many Government cement companies have been closed in the country during the last few years; (c) if so, the details of the cement companies/factories which have been closed along with the reasons for their closure, name and location-wise; (d) whether the Government proposes to establish new Government cement companies or to revive closed Government cement companies to provide cement to the public at affordable prices; and (e) if so, the details thereof?
