Will the Minister of CONSUMER AFFAIRS, FOOD AND PUBLIC DISTRIBUTION
be pleased to state:
(a) the total quantity of rice, procured and distributed from the Food Corporation of India
(F(_'1) in Manipur during the months of May and June 2025 ;
(b) the quantity of rice out of it procured and distributed specifically for supply to relief
camps catering to flood-affected victims; and
(c) the details of the quantity of this rice procured and distributed by elected Members of
the Legislative Assembly (MLAs) and if Members of Parliament (MPs) along with details of
Members involved in such procurement and distribution?

(a): A quantity of 2110.80 Metric Ton (MT) rice has been procured from Food Corporation of India
(FCI) under Open Market Sales Scheme (OMSS) and distributed in Manipur during the month of May
and June 2025.
(b) & (c): State Government ofManipur in information furnished has stated that out of 2110.80 MT,
a quantity of 183.50 MT rice has been distributed to relief camps catering to flood-affected victims
which includes 28.50 MT rice distributed by elected Members of Parliament (MPs) and Members of
Legislative Assembly (MLAs). The details given by the State Government are at Annexure-l.
