Will the Minister of ROAD TRANSPORT AND HIGHWAYS be pleased to state:

(a) the details of all National Highway and major road infrastructure-projects sanctioned, underway or completed by the Ministry in Goa during last five years, including total project lengths, objectives and year-wise commencement and completion;

(b) the budgetary allocation and actual expenditure for each of these projects during the above period, with a head-wise breakup of funds released under successive Union Budgets and Centrally Sponsored Schemes; and

(c) whether the Ministry has considered innovative interventions such as ring roads, bypasses, grade-separated interchanges or eco-sensitive alignments to further enhance connectivity, reduce travel time and minimize environmental impact in sensitive-areas of the State, if so, the details thereof? (a) to (c) The development of National Highways (NHs) including the State of Goa is a continuous process and the requirement of construction of widening of roads, ring roads, bypasses, flyovers and grade-separated interchanges is assessed on case to case basis as per traffic requirements, available Right of Way (RoW), congestion in urban/built-up sections, road safety considerations, etc. at the time preparation of Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) and provisioned in the approved DPRs of NH works either as part of the NH Corridor or on standalone basis. The details of all NH development projects sanctioned, underway or completed in Goa during the last five years including current year is annexed.

The details of the funds allocated and expenditure incurred on the development of NHs in the state of

Goa are as under:
