Will the Minister of ROAD TRANSPORT AND HIGHWAYS

(a) whether comprehensive Road Safety Audits have been
conducted on accident-prone stretches of National Highways (NHs)
in Kerala, if so, the details thereof;
(b) the details of black spots identified on National Highways (NHs)
in Kasaragod district of Kerala;
(c) the corrective measures approved for rectification of such black
spots and other road safety concerns along with the present status
thereof; and
(d) the expected timeline for implementation of the approved
corrective actions?

(a) to (d) Road Safety Audits are conducted on National Highway
(NH) projects by engaging dedicated Road Safety Consultants.
In Kasaragod district of Kerala, 11 accident-prone black spots have
been identified on NH-66 under the ongoing widening projects.
Short-term rectification measures have been completed at all the
identified black spots. Long-term rectification measures have been
completed at 9 black spots, while rectification works at the
remaining 2 black spots are targeted to be completed by
31.03.2027.
