SHRI SHREYAS M PATEL: Will the Minister of FINANCE be pleased to state: (a) the details of schemes and programmes implemented by the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) in Hassan district, Karnataka, during the last five years, scheme-wise; (b) the details of funds sanctioned, released and utilized under various NABARD schemes in Hassan district during the said period, including support for rural infrastructure, irrigation, watershed development, agriculture, dairy, rural roads, warehousing, Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs) and Self-Help Groups (SHGs); (c) the details of projects sanctioned under the Rural Infrastructure Development Fund (RIDF) in Hassan district during the last five years, indicating the sector-wise allocation and present status of implementation; (d) whether the Government proposes to sanction additional NABARD-assisted projects for Hassan district in view of its agricultural and rural development potential, if so, the details thereof; and (e) the measures taken by the Government to strengthen NABARD support for farmers, rural entrepreneurs, cooperative institutions and rural infrastructure development in Hassan district? ANSWER THE MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF FINANCE (SHRI PANKAJ CHAUDHARY) (a) As per the information received from National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD), the details of schemes and programmes implemented by NABARD in Hassan district, Karnataka during the last five years is given at Annexure-I. (b) As reported by NABARD, the details of funds sanctioned, released and utilized under various NABARD schemes during the last five years in Hassan district is given at Annexure- II. (c) As per the information received from NABARD, the details of projects sanctioned under Rural Infrastructure Development Fund (RIDF) in Hassan district during the last five years are given at Annexure-III. (d) Sanction of the projects in any district under RIDF and other NABARD-supported programmes is demand-driven and is considered based on receipt of eligible proposals from the State Government and other implementing agencies, techno-economic feasibility, availability of funds and compliance with extant guidelines. (e) Government has instituted several dedicated funds in NABARD viz. Rural Infrastructure Development Fund (RIDF), Long Term Irrigation Fund (LTIF), Warehouse Infrastructure Fund (WIF), Food Processing Fund (FPF), Long Term Rural Credit Fund (LTRCF), Short-Term Cooperative Rural Credit Refinance Fund (STCRC) etc. to support farmers, cooperative institutions and rural infrastructure developments across the country including Hassan district. *****Annexure-I Annexure referred to in part (a) of Lok Sabha Un-Starred Question No. 2514 on " Schemes implemented by NABARD in Hassan district of Karnataka" answered on 03.08.2026 Year-wise Period Sl.
