SETTING UP HEAVY INDUSTRIES IN MEERUT-HAPUR CONSTITUENCY

Will the Minister of HEAVY INDUSTRIES be pleased to state:
(a) whether there is no heavy industry in the Meerut-Hapur Lok Sabha Constituency despite
Government initiatives in heavy industries like auto, aviation, defence, rail coach, turbines etc.;
(b) if so, the reasons due to which heavy industries have not been set up in Meerut-Hapur Lok
Sabha Constituency; and
(c) the action plan of the Government for setting up heavy industries in the said Constituency
and the time by which it is likely to be implemented?
