(a) the total sanctioned budget for the establishment of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Bibinagar,inthe State of Telanganasince itsapproval;
(b) the total amount of funds (in crore)released andutilised till date for construction, procurementof medical equipmentandoperationalexpenses, year-wise;
(c)the current operational status of the institution, includingthe numberof functional hospital beds, ongoing civil works, availability of faculty and the number of active super-specialty departments; and
(d) the expected timeline for the completion of all infrastructure and facilities to make AIIMS, Bibinagar fully operational at par with other functional AIIMS across the country, alongwith detailsof anydelaysandtheir reasons, if any? ANSWER THE MINISTER OFSTATE IN THE MINISTRYOFHEALTH ANDFAMILY WELFARE

(a) & (b) The approved project cost for setting up of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) at Bibinagar is ₹1,365.95 crore. Till date, ₹939.26 crore has been released for civil construction and ₹108.01 crore for procurement of medical equipment. Till date, an amount of ₹851.85 crore has been released to AIIMS BibinagarasGrant-in-Aid for meeting operationalexpenses.
(c) & (d) Currently, the institute is functional with 200 IPD beds, with an average daily footfall of 1625 patients in OPD. At present, 132 faculty is in-position in 34 departments including 10 super specialty departments viz. Burns & Plastic Surgery, Neurosurgery, Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery, Medical Oncology/Haematology, Urology, Nephrology, Neurology, Paediatric Surgery, etc. The progress of civil works of AIIMS Bibinagar is 86%. In All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), variousdepartments/facilities are made functionalina phased manner.
