(a) whether it is a fact that 23 PM Kaushal Kendras (PMKK) have been setup in

Will the Minister of SKILL DEVELOPMENT AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP be pleased to
state: -
(a) whether it is a fact that 23 PM Kaushal Kendras (PMKK) have been setup in Andhra Pradesh;
(b) whether it is a fact that there is no PMKK in Anakapalli district of Andhra Pradesh;
(c) whether the Government proposes to set up a PM Kaushal Kendra in the said district to provide skills to unemployed youth to get employment; and
(d) if so, the details thereof? ANSWER THE MINISTER OF STATE (INDEPENDENT CHARGE) IN THE MINISTRY OF SKILL DEVELOPMENT AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP (SHRI JAYANT CHAUDHARY)
(a) Yes.
(b) All PMKKs allocated to Andhra Pradesh were sanctioned during the 2016-2018, prior to the formation of the new district Anakapalli. One PMKK had already been allocated and established in the Anakapalli Parliament Constituency under the erstwhile Visakhapatnam district jurisdiction.
(c) & (d) Currently, there is no proposal to set up PMKK in the Anakapalli district. *****
