AMOL RAMSING KOLHE: Will the Minister of SKILL DEVELOPMENT AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP be pleased to state: (a) whether the Skill India Digital Hub (SIDH) has been fully implemented in Maharashtra, and if so, the number of candidates, training providers, employers and skill centres registered on the platform, district-wise; (b) the number of youth from Pune district who have enrolled in skill courses, obtained certifications, secured apprenticeships and been placed in employment through SIDH during the last three years and the current year; (c) whether the Government has integrated SIDH with Digi Locker, the National Career Service (NCS) and local industry requirements in Pune to facilitate seamless skilling and employment opportunities and if so, the details thereof; (d) whether any assessment has been made of SIDH's contribution towards meeting the skilled manpower requirements of Pune's IT, automobile, manufacturing and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) sectors; and (e) the measures taken/being taken by the Government to improve awareness, digital accessibility and industry participation under SIDH across Maharashtra, particularly in Pune? AMOL RAMSING KOLHE REGARDING SKILL INDIA DIGITAL HUB IN MAHARASHTRA (a) Skill India Digital Hub (SIDH) is a Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI) aimed at synergizing and transforming the skills, education, employment, and entrepreneurship landscape of India. The platform brings the entire skilling ecosystem onto a single unified platform, integrating training, assessment, certification, employment and entrepreneurship services, while allowing training providers, establishments and government schemes to be onboarded onto a common interoperable ecosystem. The platform is accessible across the country, including in Maharashtra. The details are given at Annexure-A. (b) As per Skill India Digital Hub (SIDH) data up to 30.06.2026, under various skill development programmes accessible through SIDH, details for enrolled and trained candidates in Pune are given at Annexure-B. (c) Yes Sir. The Skill India Digital Hub (SIDH) has been integrated with DigiLocker, the National Career Service (NCS) portal and the e-Shram portal through secure API-based integration to facilitate seamless access to skilling and employment-related services across the country, including Pune. The integration enables candidates to access job opportunities available on the NCS portal, retrieve verified documents and credentials from DigiLocker for digital verification, and facilitates linkage of workers registered on the e-Shram portal with skilling and employment opportunities available on SIDH. At present, more than 30,000 job opportunities sourced from the NCS portal are accessible through SIDH. (d) No separate assessment of SIDH's contribution towards meeting the district-specific skilled manpower requirements of Pune's IT, automobile, manufacturing and MSME sectors has been conducted. However, through the Skill India Digital Hub (SIDH), candidates across the country, including in Maharashtra, are provided access to industry-relevant courses, certifications and opportunities, including in sectors such as Information Technology, Automotive, Manufacturing, Electronics and MSMEs. (e) The Government has undertaken various measures to enhance awareness, digital accessibility and industry participation under the Skill India Digital Hub (SIDH) across the country, including Maharashtra. To enhance awareness and participation, SIDH follows an integrated online and offline outreach approach through multilingual campaigns across digital and print media, social media platforms, community radio, outdoor media and on-ground activities such as workshops, webinars, events and SIDH facilitation stalls. A nationwide awareness campaign, “Badhna Hai Toh Yahan Judna Hai”, has also been undertaken to promote wider adoption and registration on SIDH through multiple communication channels. To improve digital accessibility and promote future-ready learning, SIDH has been developed as a mobile-first digital platform with access to skilling, certification, apprenticeship and employment- related services. The Skills on AI Readiness (SOAR) initiative on SIDH provides online, self-paced AI awareness courses to build foundational AI capabilities among learners, educators and citizens.
