The Department of Space/ISRO will request budget allocations from the Ministry of Finance based on plans for technology development, advanced R&D initiatives, establishment of technical facilities and infrastructure, and facility operations and maintenance.

Will the PRIME MINISTER be pleased to state:
(a) the details of the number of Space Research Stations in the
Country as on date along with locations of such stations;
(b) whether the Government proposes to set up more such
stations and if so, the details thereof;
(c) the quantum of funds allocated to the above stations during
the last two years and the current year;
(d) whether the Government proposes to enhance the allocations
to such Space Research Stations during the 12th five year
plan; and
(e) if so, the details thereof?
