Will the Minister of FINANCE be pleased to state:
a) Whether the Union Government approved the proposal submitted by the Government of
Himachal Pradesh under the Special Assistance for Capital Investment scheme for the year
2022-23 under PM Gati Shakti Yojana, if so, the details thereof; and
b) The quantum of amount likely to be provided under Central Assistance to the State under
the said scheme?

(a): Yes. Based on the recommendations of Department of Promotion of Industry and Internal
Trade (DPIIT), the Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance, approved 3 projects
amounting to Rs 42 crores under Part II (PM Gati Shakti related Expenditure) of the scheme for
Special Assistance for Capital Investment (SASCI) for the year 2022-23. The entire approved
amount of Rs 42 crores was released to the State vide sanction order dated 15.12.2022.
(b): An amount of Rs. 2427.7 crores has been released to Himachal Pradesh under SASCI in
2025-26 up to 04.02.2026.
