(a) the total amount of funds released by the Government to State under the Scheme for
Special Assistance to States for Capital Investment (SASCI) since its inception;
(b) whether the scheme includes any reform-linked component;
(c) if so, the details thereof; and
(d) the specific reforms undertaken by the States as a result of the reform-linked component
of SASCI?

(a): The total amount of funds released by the Government to States under the Scheme for
Special Assistance to States for Capital Expenditure/Investment (SASCI) since its inception
i.e. from the Financial Year (FY) 2020-21 to FY 2024-25, is Rs. 3,66,249.45 Crores.
(b) to (d): Yes, under some parts of the scheme, incentive is provided to States for carrying out
reforms in different sectors. Year-wise details of reform linked components and the number of
states who have been provided incentives under these components of SASCI from 2020-21 to
2024-25 is enclosed as Annexure.
