Will the Minister of COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY be pleased to state: वाणिज्य एवं उद्योग मंत्री
(a) whether the Government has partnered with Stride Ventures to support Indian startups in accessing global markets;
(b) if so, the details thereof, including the key areas of collaboration under this partnership;
(c) whether the partnership has outlined long-term objectives to foster sustainable growth for Indian startups, if so, the details thereof; and
(d) whether there are strategies in place to integrate strategic mentorship and market access alongside the financial support provided to startups, if so, the details thereof? ANSWER वाणिज्य एवं उद्योग मंत्रालय में राज्य मंत्री (श्री णिणिन प्रसाद) THE MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF COMMERCE & INDUSTRY (SHRI JITIN PRASADA)
(a): In order to promote partnerships and collaborations between the industry and startups and encourage innovation-led growth in sectors like manufacturing, the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) is signing Memorandum of Understanding (MoUs) with various stakeholders including private companies for the specific purpose, inter alia, of mentoring, providing access to infrastructure, sharing resources and knowledge, assisting in market linkages and connecting to funding networks. Under this initiative, an MoU has also been signed with Stride Ventures (Stride Fund Advisors LLP), a venture debt firm.
(b) to (d): The MoU with Stride Ventures focuses on key areas including access to funding, strategic mentorship, market linkages, and global collaborations. It is guided by long-term objectives to foster sustainable growth by supporting innovation and enabling startups to scale-up. The approach integrates financial support with structured mentorship, business development opportunities, and global market access for startups to benefit from the resources, guidance, and network of the partner organisation.
