SHRI MOHIBBULLAH: Will the Minister of HOUSING AND URBAN AFFAIRS be pleased to state: (a) the number of applications registered for the Credit Linked Subsidy Scheme (CLSS) under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana - Urban (PMAY-U) from inception of the said scheme till its closure; (b) the number of applications approved and subsidy disbursed under the said yojana; (c) whether it is a fact that the pace of subsidy disbursement under the above yojana has been very slow; (d) if so, the number of applications registered and approved for CLSS between 2019 and 2025, year-wise; and (e) the steps taken to expedite the disposal of the remaining applications? ANSWER THE MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF HOUSING AND URBAN AFFAIRS (SHRI TOKHAN SAHU) (a) to (e): Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA) has been implementing Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana - Urban (PMAY-U) since 25.06.2015 with an aim to provide all weather pucca houses with basic civic amenities to all eligible urban beneficiaries across the country. The scheme is being implemented through four verticals i.e., Beneficiary Led Construction (BLC), Affordable Housing in Partnership (AHP), In-Situ Slum Redevelopment (ISSR) and Credit Linked Subsidy Scheme (CLSS).
