AMAR SINGH: SHRI BALWANT BASWANT WANKHADE: Will the MINISTER OF CULTURE be pleased to state: (a) the details of number of applications received, scholarships sanctioned and disbursed under the Award of Scholarships to Young Artists in Different Cultural Fields scheme since 2021 till 30 October, 2025, year and State/UT-wise; (b) average and maximum time taken for sanction and disbursement of scholarship funds each year during the said period, year-wise; (c) whether any review or audit has been undertaken regarding delays in processing or distribution of scholarship funds; and (d) if so, the details thereof and if not, the reasons therefor? ANSWER MINISTER OF CULTURE AND TOURISM (SHRI GAJENDRA SINGH SHEKHAWAT) (a) The number and details of applications received; scholarships sanctioned is attached at Annexure A. Further, number of Scholars and amount disbursed for the period from financial year 2021-22 to financial year 2025-26 (till 30.10.2025) is attached at Annexure B. (b),(c)&(d) After receipt of the applications from the Scholars, the same are evaluated/scrutinized and after that interaction/interview are also held. Subsequently eligible applications are placed before Expert Committee for further consideration and approval and funds for scholarship is released to the eligible candidates in 04 six-monthly installments.
