GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF ROAD TRANSPORT AND HIGHWAYS LOK SABHA UNSTARRED QUESTION NO. 3045 ANSWERED ON 06TH AUGUST, 2026 STATUS OF GREENFIELD PROJECT 3045. SHRI SANTOSH PANDEY: Will the Minister of ROAD TRANSPORT AND HIGHWAYS सड़क परिवहन औि िाजमार्ग मंत्री be pleased to state: (a) the current status of the Greenfield project from Rajegaon in Madhya Pradesh to Raipur in Chhattisgarh; (b) whether the foundation stone of the said project has been laid; (c) whether the process of land acquisition is to be initiated for the said project; and (d) if so, the details thereof? ANSWER THE MINISTER OF ROAD TRANSPORT AND HIGHWAYS (SHRI NITIN JAIRAM GADKARI) (a) to (d) Government keeps on undertaking Detailed Project Report (DPR)/ feasibility study to upgrade the National Highway (NH) network through greenfield/brown field expansion with an aim to improve the logistic efficiency and reduce the travel time. As far as Detailed Project Report (DPR) for project of Rajegaon in Madhya Pradesh to Raipur in Chhattisgarh is concerned, the work of preparation of DPR has been awarded. Further action is taken based on the outcome of DPR, requirement of connectivity, traffic density, synergy with PM Gati Shakti National Master Plan etc. *****
