the details of the current status of the proposed IT hub in Kozhikode, as announced by the Hon'ble
Minister of Electronics and Information Technology during his visit in 2024 including the expected
time frame for its establishment?

The Government of India has launched several initiatives and programs to support the expansion
of the IT sector. Software Technology Park (STP) is one such important scheme in this effort.
Under this scheme, STPI has established two (2) centres in Kerala at Thiruvananthapuram and
Kochi respectively. Government of India is yet to receive a formal proposal from Government of
Kerala for setting up STPI centre at Kozhikode.
