(a) whether the Government has assessed the progress of the street
lighting project on NH-966A, if so, the details thereof including expected
date of completion and if not, the reasons therefor;
(b) whether the total estimated amount for the street lighting project on
NH-966A has been finalised and if so, the details thereof and if not, the
reasons therefor;
(c) whether the Government has details of various work done on NH-966A
during the past five financial years, if so, the details thereof and if not, the
reasons therefor; and
(d) whether the street lights to be installed on NH-966A under the project
meet the required safety and energy efficiency standards, if so, the details
thereof and if not, the reasons therefor?

(a), (b) & (d) The installation of street light on NH-966A has been taken up
at an estimated cost of Rs. 7.78 Crore. The work has been completed andconnection from Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB) is awaited, which is
expected by 31st July 2025. The street light has been installed conforming
to KSEB norms and IRC standard.
