ANSWER THE MINISTER OF STATE FOR FISHERIES, ANIMAL HUSBANDRY AND DAIRYING (PROF. S.P. SINGH BAGHEL) (a) Yes Sir, there has been an increase in the subsidy provided by the Government under the National Livestock Mission – Entrepreneurship Development Programme (NLM-EDP) an activity under National Livestock Mission (NLM) since FY 2021-22. (b) Under the Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP) of the National Livestock Mission (NLM), 50% subsidy upto Rs. 50 lakh are provided to individual farmers, Joint Liability Groups (JLGs), Self-Help Groups (SHGs), and Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs)/ Farmer Cooperative Organizations (FCOs)/ Section 8 Companies for establishment of poultry, sheep, goat, pig, camel, donkey, horse farms and fodder unit. An online end to end digitalized portal (www.nlm.udyamimitra) has been developed to facilitate fair and transparent mechanism to promote ease of doing business enhancing accessibility for applicants across the country. 1. To ensure effective and decentralized implementation, each state has designated a State Implementing Agency (SIA) for facilitating project appraisal, monitoring, and verification of projects.ii. Centralized dashboard has been developed to provide real-time data on project approvals, subsidy disbursals, loan sanctions, and region-wise implementation progress. iii. Central-Level Bankers Coordination Committee (CLBCC) has been constituted under the chairmanship of the Secretary for bank related queries. iv. To generate awareness and encourage participation, the Government has organized promotional events/ workshops/ seminars etc. v. Publication of success stories. vi. A dedicated help desk (nlm.support@sidbi.in) has been established to address all queries related to finance and provide assistance related to the NLM EDP. vii. Continuous monitoring system with State and banks is in place.
