2. **Maritime Digital Centre of Excellence:** Established in partnership with the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (CDAC), this center aims to accelerate digital transformation using indigenous IT solutions and modernizing the port and shipping industries with AI, blockchain, and data analytics.
3. **Project Monitoring Data-driven Review Institutional System for Tracking Implementation (DRISHTI) Framework:** A digital dashboard to monitor key performance indicators and milestones under the Maritime India Vision 2030 and Amrit Kaal Vision 2047.

evaluation in handling hazardous cargo during the implementation of shore power

(a) to (c) The Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways has undertaken several key
initiatives to enhance digital compatibility across ports and terminal systems, and to
promote indigenous technology development in maritime sector. Collectively, these
initiatives aim to strengthen India's maritime logistics, improve system interoperability,
and foster a future-ready, technology-driven shipping ecosystem. The major steps taken
inter alia are as follows:
i. SAGAR SETU / National Logistics Portal (Marine): A unified digital platform aimed
at enhancing operational efficiency, productivity, and ease of doing business in the
Indian ports and shipping sector. It facilitates seamless EXIM services bysignificantly reducing vessel and cargo documentation time through a faster and
paperless process.
ii. Maritime Digital Centre of Excellence: Established in partnership with Centre for
Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) for Indian maritime sector, the
Centre aims to accelerate digital transformation through advanced indigenous IT
solutions, foster innovation, and guide the modernisation of port and shipping
industries using AI, blockchain, and data analytics.
iii. Project Monitoring – Data-driven Review Institutional System for Tracking
Implementation (DRISHTI) Framework: An institutional digital dashboard designed
to track key performance indicators and milestones under the Maritime India Vision
2030 and Amrit Kaal Vision 2047.
