Parliament Question: Temporary COCOs Inherited from IBP

SHRI CAPTAIN VIRIATO FERNANDES: पेट(cid:332)ोिलयम और (cid:366)ाकृ ितक गैस मं(cid:361)ी Will the Minister of PETROLEUM AND NATURAL GAS be pleased to state: (a) the complete details of all temporary Company Owned Company Operated (COCO) retail outlets inherited from IBP by Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) after the merger, including location, name of the landowner, present dealership status, name of the dealer, category under which the dealership was awarded and the date of award; (b) the number of such inherited temporary COCOs still operating through ad hoc dealers, along with the location-wise details indicating the name of the ad hoc dealer and the period for which each outlet has been operated on an ad hoc basis since the merger; (c) the details of dealerships awarded under IBP Policy No. MPDM/319/02 dated 08.10.2002 for - (i) temporary COCOs, and (ii) direct dealerships, indicating location, name of the landowner, name of the dealer, category of dealership and date of award; (d) the details of all policies/guidelines issued by IOCL from 2007 till date governing operation of temporary COCO retail outlets through ad hoc dealers; and (e) the present status of the dealership of the two temporary IOCL COCO's at Verna and Ambora in Goa? (b) There are 29 such inherited temporary COCOs operating through ad hoc dealers by IOCL.(c) There are 221 RO dealerships awarded from temporary COCO or directly under IBP Policy No. MPDM/319/02 dated 08.10.2002.
