SHRI SANA SATHISH BABU Will the Minister of Cooperation be pleased to state : (a) The details of cooperative training programmes conducted by the National Council for Cooperative Training (NCCT) during the last five years, State-wise and the number of people trained from Andhra Pradesh including details on course offered; (b) the status of NCCT-affiliated training centres in Andhra Pradesh, including their capacity, faculty strength and the courses offered; and (c) the funds allocated, released and utilized for NCCT-related training activities in Andhra Pradesh during the last five years? ANSWER THE MINISTER OF COOPERATION (SHRI AMIT SHAH) (a) National Council for Cooperative Training (NCCT) through its nationwide network of Regional Institutes of Cooperative Management (RICMs) and Institutes of Cooperative Management (ICMs) conducted 14133 training programmes in all States from 2020-21 to 2024-25. The details of the co-operative training programmes of NCCT is at Annexure-I. In addition, detail of the number of participants trained in various training programmes and the State-wise details of the participants trained, including the State of Andhra Pradesh in the last 05 years, are at Annexure- II & III resepctively. (b) ICM Hyderabad, an institute under the National Council for Cooperative Training (NCCT), caters to the training requirements of both the States of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The Institute has the following training and residential facilities which includes, inter-alia, 03 classrooms with a total seating capacity of 150 participants, one computer lab with a capacity of 45 participants and hostel facility with 60 rooms, with an occupancy capacity of 130 trainees.In addition, ICM Hyderabad has 18 faculty members i.e. 01 Director, 01 Deputy Director, 01 Lecturer (Contractual) and 15 Master Trainers and guest faculties.Apart from the teaching faculites, 15 other administrative officers and staff are there in ICM, Hyderabad. ICM Hyderabad conducts Long-Term Diploma Programmes, such as: (i) Higher Diploma in Cooperative Management (HDCM) (ii) Other Sectoral Diploma Courses for personnel working in cooperative institutions Further, the Institute conducts Short-Term Capacity Building Programmes for cooperative societies and stakeholders, including programmes for: (i) Primary Agricultural Credit Societies (PACS) (ii) Fisheries Cooperatives (iii) Dairy Cooperatives (iv) Other cooperative sectors, as per training needs.
