The Minister of Women and Child Development was asked to state the details of funds allocated/utilized by the Administrator of Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu under Mission Shakti during the last five years, the number and details of women to whom self-protection training was provided under the Mission in said UT during the last five years, and the number of workshops organized in said UTs to provide employment and entrepreneurship training during the last five years.
Mission Shakti aims at strengthening interventions for women safety, security and empowerment, comprising the verticals ‘Sambal' and 'Samarthya'. ‘Sambal' has components of One Stop Centre (OSC), Women Helpline (WHL), Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP) and Nari Adalat, while 'Samarthya' has components of Shakti Sadan, Sakhi Niwas, Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana.
Funds allocated/released to the Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu under Mission Shakti are as follows (in Crores): 2020-21: 0.91, 2021-22: 2.81, 2022-23: 2.43, 2023-24: 2.3, 2024-25: 5.26, Total Expenditure: 13.71. Funds have been provisioned under the Mission Shakti for training, monitoring, vocational activities, and capacity-building initiatives, including public awareness, outreach, and self-protection training for women and girl child for their safety, security, and empowerment.

(a) the details of the funds allocated/utilized by the Administrator of Union Territory of Dadra
and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu under Mission Shakti during the last five years, year-
wise;
(b) the number and details of women to whom self-protection training was provided under the

(a) to (c): Mission Shakti aims at strengthening interventions for women safety, security and
empowerment. Mission Shakti comprises of two verticals ‘Sambal’ for safety and security of
women and ‘Samarthya’ for empowerment of women. The ‘Sambal’ has components of One
Stop Centre (OSC), Women Helpline (WHL), Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP) and Nari Adalat.
The ‘Samarthya' has components of Shakti Sadan, Sakhi Niwas, Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana
Yojana.
