(a) to (d): Ayushman Bharat - Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY) is a flagship
scheme of the Government of India that provides cashless health coverage of upto Rs. 5 lakh
per eligible family per year for secondary and tertiary care hospitalizations to 12 crore
families, constituting the bottom 40% of India’spopulation.Under AB-PMJAY, treatment related to Thalassemia is covered under HBP 2022 package
master. A total number of 1,18,171 hospital admissions related to the treatment of
Thalassemia have been authorizedunderthe scheme during the last three years.
(e)and (f): UnderAB-PMJAY,HealthBenefitPackage(HBP)2022includescoverageforhigh
-cost organ transplant such asrenaland bone marrow transplants. As on30.06.2025,a totalof
26,494 hospital admissions amounting to Rs. 298.31 crore has been authorized for transplant
