UNDERGRADUATE SEATS IN AIIMS
422 SHRI SAMIRUL ISLAM:
Will the Minister of HEALTH AND FAMILY WELFARE be pleased to state:
(a) the total number of Undergraduate seats available in all AIIMS, AIIMS-wise and
Quota-wise;
(b) whether there is any provision for paid and NRI Quota;
(c) if so, the percentage of such seats out of total sanctioned seats; and
(d) the fee structure and criteria for the paid and NRI Quota?
ANSWER

(a) to (d): The Institute-wise intake of MBBS students in all AIIMS is at Annexure. Out of
132 seats in AIIMS Delhi, 7 seats are for foreign nationals. There is no provision for paid
and NRI quota in MBBS seats in any AIIMS. Reservation in MBBS seats across all AIIMS
follows Central Government norms.
