UPGRADATION WORK ON NH-148
2021. SHRI MURARI LAL MEENA:
Will the Minister of ROAD TRANSPORT AND HIGHWAYS

be pleased to state:
(a) the current status of construction/upgradation of National
Highway (NH)-148 and the total number of packages sanctioned
under the project along with project-wise and section-wise details
thereof;
(b) the details of the number of packages for which tenders have
been issued, awarded, packages where construction work has
commenced, packages completed and those currently pending
under the project, stage-wise;
(c) the details of sanctioned cost, executing agency, stipulated
completion period, physical and financial progress achieved so far
and reasons for delay, if any, in respect of each package;
(d) whether the Government proposes to implement a special action
plan for time-bound completion of the remaining works on NH-148;
and
(e) if so, the details thereof and the estimated timeline for
completion of the construction/ upgradation work of the highway?

(a) to (e) The details of current status, sanctioned cost, executing
agency, completion date, physical and financial progress achieved
is attached as enclosure.To expedite project execution, various initiatives have been
undertaken, including streamlining of the land acquisition process
through the Bhoomi Rashi Portal, revamping of the Parivesh Portal
through the Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change
(MoEFCC) for expeditious forest and environmental clearances,
online approval of General Arrangement Drawings (GAD) for Road
Over Bridges (ROBs) and Road Under Bridges (RUBs) from the
Railways, and conduct of review meetings at various levels with all
stakeholders, including State Governments. National Highway
projects are regularly reviewed and monitored at various levels,
including through the Project Monitoring Group and "PRAGATI".ANNEXURE REFERRED TO IN REPLY TO PART (a) to (e) OF LOK SABHA UNSTARRED QUESTION NO. 2021
