Shri Arun Govil: Shri Ashish Dubey: Shri Alok Sharma: Shri Captain Brijesh Chowta: Shri Amar Sharadrao Kale: Shri Rahul Singh Lodhi: Shri Bhojraj Nag: Shri Mukeshkumar Chandrakaant Dalal: Dr. Hemang Joshi: Shri Khagen Murmu: Dr. Nishikant Dubey: Shri Suresh Kumar Kashyap: Will the Minister of PARLIAMENTARY AFFAIRS be pleased to state: (a) whether the Government has launched an upgraded version (NYPS 2.0) of the National Youth Parliament Scheme portal, if so, the reasons for the upgrade along with the specific new features it offers over the earlier version; (b) whether the NYPS 2.0 now permits participation of unregistered institutions, informal groups and individual citizens, in addition to recognised educational institutions, if so, the details thereof including that of any unorganised institute from Jabalpur apart from educational institute, State/UT-wise cumulatively since inception of the portal; (c) the cumulative number of institutional, group and individual registrations recorded on the portal since its launch, State/UT-wise including Karnataka and Himachal Pradesh particularly in Dakshina Kannada and Shimla Lok Sabha Constituency; and (d) whether any targets have been set for onboarding institutions, groups and individuals during the year 2026-27 and if so, the details thereof?ANSWER THE MINISTER OF STATE (INDEPENDENT CHARGE) OF THE MINISTRY OF LAW AND JUSTICE; AND THE MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF PARLIAMENTARY AFFAIRS (SHRI ARJUN RAM MEGHWAL) (a) to (c), The Ministry has launched an upgraded version of the National Youth Parliament Scheme (NYPS) web portal, known as NYPS 2.0 on 11th September 2024. Unlike the previous version, which was limited to students of recognized institutions only, NYPS 2.0 is open to all the educational institutions, groups and citizens across the country. Since its launch the details of institutional, group and individual registrations recorded on the portal are as follows (Constituency-wise data is not maintained on the portal) – Sl.
