Will the Minister of Women and Child Development be pleased to state:
(a) the number of sanctioned positions, employees in position and vacancies in the Ministry of Women and Child Development, as of 31 January 2026;
(b) whether any positions have been laying vacant for more than two to five years, if so, the details thereof, category-wise; and
(c) the number of sanctioned positions/vacancies in National Commission for Protection of Child Rights, Central Adoption Resource Authority/National Commission for Women, as of 31 January 2026? ANSWER MINISTER FOR WOMEN AND CHILD DEVELOPMENT (SHRIMATI ANNPURNA DEVI)
(a) and (b): The details of sanctioned posts, employees in-position and vacancies in the Ministry of Women and Child Development (Main Secretariat), as of 31 January 2026, are as under:
Sanctioned In-position Vacant 265 208 57 Further, 14 posts of MTS in the Ministry (Main Secretariat) are lying vacant for two to five years.
