TANKHA: Will the Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment be pleased to state: (a) whether the post of Chief Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities (CCPD) under Government of India is presently lying vacant, if so, the details thereof; (b) the reasons for non-appointment to the post of CCPD despite multiple interviews/selection processes having been conducted; and (c) whether Government proposes to fill the post of Chief Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities on a regular basis, if so, timeline thereof?
