**Summary:**
As of July 24, 2025, several Director, Scientist, and Student Researcher positions are vacant within the Ministry of Science and Technology, specifically across the Department of Science and Technology (DST), the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), and the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR).
The DST has 1 vacant Director position, 187 vacant Scientist positions (with 16, 9, and 33 reserved for SC, ST, and OBC categories, respectively), and 41 vacant Student Researcher positions.
