(a) whether it is a fact that during the current marking season Government has procured
wheat more than last marking season;
(b) the details of quantity of wheat procured by the Government on MSP during the last
five years and current year, State-wise; and

(a): A quantity of 300.35 Lakh Metric Ton (LMT) Wheat has been procured for Central
Pool during current Rabi Marketing Season (RMS) 2025-26 whereas 266.05 LMT of wheat
was procured for central pool during RMS 2024-25.
(b): The quantity of wheat procured by Government on MSP for the last five years and
current year, State-wise is at Annexure-l.
(c): The number of farmers, State wise benefitted from wheat procurement for central pool
for the last five years and current year is at Annexure-II.
