SHRI JASWANTSINH SUMANBHAI BHABHOR: Will the Minister of Ayush be pleased to state: (a) the details of Yoga and Naturopathy Institutes proposed to be established in Andhra Pradesh; (b) whether there is any proposal to establish such an institute in Gujarat in the future, especially in tribal-dominated areas like the Dahod Lok Sabha Constituency and if so, the details thereof; (c) whether any request has been made by the Gujarat Government for land allocation and if so, the details thereof; and (d) the possibilities for tribal youth to receive higher education and employment in Yoga and Naturopathy? ANSWER THE MINISTER OF STATE (IC) OF THE MINISTRY OF AYUSH (SHRI PRATAPRAO JADHAV) (a) Ministry of Ayush has planned to establish a ‘Central Research Institute of Yoga and Naturopathy (CRIYN)’ consisting of 100 bedded Hospital including treatment block, administration & OPD and residential facilities at an estimated cost of Rs.93.82 Cr on land measuring Ac. 15.00 cents in Nadimpalem Village, Guntur District, provided by Government of Andhra Pradesh. (b) & (c) At present there is no such proposal in the Ministry. (d) Higher education in Yoga and Naturopathy is available at various levels for students including those belonging to tribal communities.
