No.KP/27 OF 2026/PRHRDD/MRT/e-file/14/2023/2855/Section-Ch:- WHEREAS in pursuance of clause (a) of sub-

section (3) of section 191 of the Gujarat Panchayats Act, 1993 (Guj. 18 of 1993) (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), the District Panchayat, Botad has, by the resolution No.152, passed at its general meeting held on 17th February 2026, applied to the State Government for increasing the rate of cess to be levied on Non- Agricultural Lands under sub-section (1) of section 191 of the said Act to 200 paise with effect from 1st August, 2026 to 31st July, 2029 ;

AND WHEREAS the Government of Gujarat has considered the aforesaid application;

NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (b) of sub-section (3) of section 191 of the said Act, the Government of Gujarat hereby increases the rate of cess levied on Non- Agricultural Lands under sub-

section (1) of section 191 of the said Act to 200 paise in relation to the area under the jurisdiction of the District Panchayat, Botad, with effect from 1st August, 2026 to 31st July, 2029.

NOTIFICATION Sachivalaya, Gandhinagar, 16th September, 2026 CONSTITUTION OF INDIA.

No.KP/29 of 2026/PRHRDD/VBN/e-file/14/2026/2996/CH:- WHEREAS, the Government of Gujarat vide Government Notification, Urban Development and Urban Housing Department No. GV/322 of 2025 UDUHD/MSM/ e-file/18/2024/1536/M Section, dated the 9th September, 2025 had specified the areas of Palanpur (All revenue survey numbers of Palanpur Gram Panchayat (Including Gamtal) New Revenue Survey No. 1 to 434), Sabalpur (All revenue survey numbers of Sabalpur Gram Panchayat (Including Gamtal) New Revenue Survey No. 1 to 569), Ganeshpur (All revenue survey numbers of Ganeshpur Gram Panchayat (Including Gamtal) New Revenue Survey No. 1 to 298), Bajkot(All revenue survey numbers of Bajkot Gram Panchayat (Including Gamtal) New Revenue Survey No. 1 to 359) of Modasa Taluka of Aravalli District as the smaller urban areas and notified such areas as the municipal areas of the Modasa Municipality and the said areas formed the part of the Modasa Municipality vide the said notification;

AND WHEREAS, the Sabalpur Group Gram Panchayat of Modasa Taluka of Aravalli District consist of the local areas of Palanpur, Ganeshpur, Sabalpur, Bajkot and Rasulpur Village;

AND WHEREAS, the local areas of original Sabalpur Group Gram panchayat, i.e., Palanpur, Ganeshpur, Sabalpur and Bajkot Village, except Rasulpur village which was included in the Modasa Municipality, the Rasulpur Village continued to exist without a Village Panchayat and as such required to be declared as a new Village Panchayat;

AND WHEREAS, the District Panchayat, Aravalli and Taluka Panchayat, Modasa have passed resolution and recommended to declare the areas of Rasulpur village as Rasulpur Village Panchayat;

AND WHEREAS, the State Government has considered the said resolutions and decided to specify the areas of Rasulpur village as Rasulpur Village Panchayat;

NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by clause(g) of article 243 of the Constitution of India read with section 7 of the Gujarat Panchayats Act, 1993 (Guj.18 of 1993), the Government of Gujarat hereby specifies the new Village Panchayat named in column (4), comprising of the local areas shown in column (5) and survey numbers shown in column (6) of the Schedule appended hereto.
