PART I-B CENTRAL SECTION Government Notifications Published Under Land Acquisition Act Only NARMADA, WATER RESOURCES, WATER SUPPLY & KALPSAR DEPARTMENT NOTIFICATION Sachivalaya, Gandhinagar, 6th May, 2026 (The Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act-2013 (30 OF 2013) District: Vav-Tharad LAQ Case No. 05/2026 No. AM/NJ/2026/65/LAQ/2026/Va.Th./19/M:- Whereas it appears to the Government of Gujarat that the land specified in the SCHEDULE annexed here to likely to be needed for public purpose viz for the purpose of Construction for Suigam Direct Distributary Canal of Narmada Project. (1) Now therefore in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (i) of section-2 of the "The Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act-2013 (30 OF 2013) (hereinafter referred to as "THE ACT") it is hereby notified that the Government of Gujarat intends to acquire the said Land for the public purpose of Construction of Suigam Direct Distributary Canal of Narmada Project. (2) Now whereas a proposal is made for acquisition of the above-mentioned scheduled land for the purpose of Construction of Suigam Direct Distributary Canal of Narmada Project. The bare minimum area of land to be acquired as per SCHEDULE for the project is H.00-00-57 Sq.mtr. of Village: Bhankhod, Taluka: Vav District: Vav-Tharad (3) Now whereas it appears to the State Government that it is expedient to exempt in public interest to the area of H.00-00-57 Sq.mtr. of land to be acquired for the above stated infrastructure project from the application of the provision of chapter II and III of the Act.
