No. GKH/27/2026/ACD/MSC/e-file/2/2024/3039/Z:- In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution of India, the Governor of Gujarat hereby makes the following rules to provide for regulating recruitment to the post of Joint Commissioner, Class I, under the Commissionerate of Fisheries, namely:- 1. (1) These rules may be called the Joint Commissioner, Class I, under the Commissionerate of Fisheries, Recruitment Rules, 2026. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in Official Gazette. 2. Appointment to the post of Joint Commissioner, Class I, under the Commissionerate of Fisheries shall be made either,- (a) by promotion of a person who possesses 'very good bench mark' for being considered fit for promotion within the zone of consideration as laid down in the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967” from amongst the persons who:- (i) have worked for not less than five years in the cadre of Deputy Director of Fisheries (Plan), Class I, in the Commissionerate of fisheries: Provided that where the appointing authority is satisfied that a person having the experience specified above is not available for promotion and that it is necessary in the public interest to fill up the post by promotion even of a person having experience for a lesser period; it may, for reasons to be recorded in writing, promote such person who possesses experience for a period of not less than two thirds of the period specified above; 115116 GUJARAT GOVERNMENT GAZETTE, 05-03-2026 [ PART IV-A (ii) have passed the qualifying examination for computer knowledge in accordance with the provisions of the Gujarat Civil Services Computer Competency Training and Examination Rules, 2006; or (b) by temporary transfer on deputation basis from amongst the persons working on the cadre of Gujarat Administrative Service (Selection Grade), Class I, in case where suitable officer in the feeder cadre is not available. 3. A candidate appointed by promotion shall be required to undergo such training and to pass such examination as may be prescribed by the Government. No. GTD/02/2026/TDD/ANS/e-file/25/20222/2918/G:- In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution of India, the Governor of Gujarat hereby makes the following Rules further to amend the Assistant Teacher, Class III (Other than Assistant Teacher for Special or Technical or both subjects), in Secondary Section of the Government Adarsh Nivasi Shala for Scheduled Tribe (Procedure for Selection) Rules, 2023, namely:- 1. (1) These rules may be called the Assistant Teacher, Class III (Other than Assistant Teacher for Special or Technical or both subjects), in Secondary Section of the Government Adarsh Nivasi Shala for Scheduled Tribe (Procedure for Selection) (Amendment) Rules, 2026. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Assistant Teacher, Class III (Other than Assistant Teacher for Special or Technical or both subjects), in Secondary Section of the Government Adarsh Nivasi Shala for Scheduled Tribe (Procedure for Selection) Rules, 2023 In rule 3, for clause (2), the following clause shall be substituted, namely: - " (2) The Selection Committee shall consist of the following members, namely: - (i) Commissioner / Director, Tribal Development, Gujarat. Chairman, ex-officio (ii) Joint/Deputy Secretary (Service), Tribal Development Member, ex-officio Department, Gandhinagar. (iii) Joint Commissioner, Commissionerate of Tribal Development, Member, ex-officio Gandhinagar. (iv) Deputy Commissioner (Administration), Commissionerate of Member Secretary, ex-officio Tribal Development, Gandhinagar. (v) Joint Director of Schools (Secondary), Gandhinagar. Member, ex-officio (vi) Principal, Government Science College, Gandhinagar.
