(Regarding Acquisition of Right of User in Land) Notification under Section 6, Sub-sections (2) and (4) GUJARAT WATER AND GAS PIPELINES ACT, 2000. Name of Work No:- GH/NJ/2026/96/NWRWSKD/MIS/e-file/13/2026/5259/Section-N - "Enhancement of Irrigation Facilities to the Nalkantha Area and Tail End Area of Fatewadi and Narmada Command System in Sanand, Viramgam and Bavla Talukas of Ahmedabad District (Phase-I)" On behalf of the Government of Gujarat, Sardar Sarovar Narmada Nigam Limited proposes to lay a water pipeline for providing irrigation facilities to villages of the Nalkantha region situated in Sanand, Bavla and Viramgam Talukas of Ahmedabad District for a public purpose. For acquisition of the Right of User in the lands described in the Schedule attached to the notifications issued by the Executive Engineer, Narmada Project Canal Division No. 8, Dholka, dated 16/04/2024 and 01/08/2024, objections and suggestions were invited from the public within 30 (Thirty) days from the date of publication of the notification under the powers conferred by Section 3(1) of the Gujarat Water and Gas Pipelines (Acquisition of Right of User in Land) Act, 2000 (Gujarat Act No. 5 of 2000). IV-B Ex.-207 207-1207-2 GUJARAT GOVERNMENT GAZETTE, EX., 17-07-2026 [ PART IV-B Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred under Section 6(2) and 6(4) of the Gujarat Water and Gas Pipelines (Acquisition of Right of User in Land) Act, 2000, the State Government hereby declares that the Right of User in the lands specified in the Schedule attached hereto, situated in 02 (Two) villages of Ahmedabad District, is acquired for laying a water pipeline to provide irrigation facilities to villages of the Nalkantha area in Sanand, Bavla and Viramgam Talukas. Accordingly, the Right of User in the lands described in the Schedule attached to this notification is hereby acquired for the purpose of laying the water pipeline. From the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, the Right of User in the said lands shall vest absolutely in Sardar Sarovar Narmada Nigam Limited, free from all encumbrances.
