No.GH/PT/2025/30/PTD/PCY/e-file/22/2025/0711/KH: WHEREAS, Saptam Kuveracharya P. P. Shri Avichaldasji Maharaj Suvarnatula Smruti Trust, Sarsa, Anand (hereinafter referred to as “the said Trust”) is a trust registered under the Gujarat Public Trusts Act, 1950 (Bom XXIX of 1950) vide Trust Registration No.E/2578/Anand and Sat Keval Eye Hospital works under the above said trust deals with providing free eye disease diagnosis camps in backward, inland and tribal areas of Gujarat such as cataract surgery, eye drops, medicine, accommodation and food arrangements, as well as transportation from their village free of cost. AND WHEREAS the Motor Vehicle Tax is levied on the Motor Vehicles under the provisions of the Gujarat Motor Vehicle Tax Act, 1958 (Bom LXV of 1958), at the rates specified by the Government of Gujarat, Ports and Transport Department by Notification published in Official Gazette from time to time; IV-B Ex.-583 583-1583-2 GUJARAT GOVERNMENT GAZETTE, EX., 29-12-2025 [ PART IV-B AND WHEREAS the said Trust has represented to the State Government to grant exemption from payment of the tax on motor vehicles belonging to it on the grounds that the vehicles are used for the charitable purposes and serving mankind only without taking any charges; AND WHEREAS the State Government has considered the representation of the said Trust in accordance with the provisions of clause (1) of rule 16A of the Gujarat Motor Vehicle Tax Rules, 1959; NOW, THEREFORE in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 13 of the Gujarat Motor Vehicle Tax Act, 1958 (Bom. LXV of 1958) read with rule 16A of the Gujarat Motor Vehicle Tax Rules, 1959, the Government of Gujarat hereby fully exempts the motor vehicle bearing Chassis Number: MC2P3LRT0TA557761 and Engine Number: E446CDRL122168 belonging to the said Trust from the payment of tax and subject to condition that the said exemption shall be discontinued on account of sale or transfer of vehicle.
