PART IV-B Rules and Orders (Other than those published in Parts I, I-A, and I-L) made by the Government of Gujarat under the Gujarat Acts URBAN DEVELOPMENT AND URBAN HOUSING DEPARTMENT NOTIFICATION Sachivalaya, Gandhinagar, 11th May, 2026 THE GUJARAT TOWN PLANNING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT ACT, 1976. NO.GH/V/85 of 2026/UDUHD/TPS/e-file/18/2025/4791-L: WHEREAS, under Government Notification, Urban Development and Urban Housing Department No.GH/V/90 of 2020/TPS-112020-1035-L, dtd.16.07.2020 the Government of Gujarat, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 48(2) of the Gujarat Town Planning and Urban Development Act, 1976 (President's Act No. 27 of 1976) (hereinafter referred to as "the said Act") sanctioned the Draft Town Planning Scheme No.142 (Virochannagar-Khoraj-Chharodi-Dodar) (hereinafter referred to as "the said Draft Scheme") submitted by the Ahmedabad Urban Development Authority (hereinafter referred to as "the said Authority"); IV-B Ex.-114 114-1114-2 GUJARAT GOVERNMENT GAZETTE, EX., 11-05-2026 [ PART IV-B AND WHEREAS, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 50 of the said Act, the Government of Gujarat appointed the Town Planning Officer for the finalizing the said Draft Scheme; AND WHEREAS, the Town Planning Officer has submitted on dated 10.07.2025, to the Government of Gujarat, the Preliminary Town Planning Scheme No. 142 (Virochannagar-Khoraj-Chharodi-Dodar) (hereinafter referred to as "the said Preliminary Scheme") as required under section 52(2) and section 64 of the said Act; AND WHEREAS, the State Government has received the representation of GIDC dated 10.07.2025 by letter of the said Authority dated 06.08.2025 and also the representation dated 16.03.2026 of the said Authority by which the proposals of the said Preliminary Scheme submitted by Town Planning Officer needs substantial modification and the opportunity of hearing needs to be given to the affected persons by the Town Planning Officer; NOW THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by section-65 of the said Act, the Government of Gujarat hereby:- Refuse to give sanction to the said Preliminary Scheme with direction as per schedule appended here to; SCHEDULE The Town Planning Officer shall draw the preliminary scheme afresh as per the provision of the said Act, by considering the representations of AUDA and GIDC and thereafter submit the Preliminary Scheme to the State Government as required under section 52(2) and section 64 of the said Act.
