NOTIFICATION Sachivalaya, Gandhinagar, 3rd October, 2026 THE GUJARAT TOWN PLANNING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT ACT, 1976.

No.GH/V/186 OF 2026/UDUHD/TPS/e-file/18/2025/7174/L: WHEREAS, under Government Notification, Urban Development and Urban Housing Department No. GH/V/53 of 2016/TPS-142015-2072-L, dated 10.03.2016 the Government of Gujarat, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 48(2) of the Gujarat Town Planning and Urban Development Act, 1976 (President's Act No. 27 of 1976) (hereinafter referred to as "the said Act") sanctioned the Draft Town Planning Scheme No. 57 (Kharvasa-Eklera) (hereinafter referred to as "the said Draft Scheme") submitted by the Surat Urban Development Authority, Surat (hereinafter referred to as "the said Authority");

AND WHEREAS, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 50 of the said Act, the Government of Gujarat appointed the Town Planning Officer for finalizing the said Draft Scheme;

AND WHEREAS, under Government Notification, Urban Development and Urban Housing Department No.GH/V/39 of 2020/TPS-142020-1129-L, dated 08.06.2020 the Government of Gujarat, in exercise of the powers conferred by

section 65 of the said Act 1976, sanctioned the Preliminary Town Planning Scheme No. 57 (Kharvasa-Eklera);

AND WHEREAS, the Town Planning Officer submitted to the Government of Gujarat, the Final Town Planning Scheme No. 57 (Kharvasa-Eklera) (hereinafter referred to as “the said Final Scheme") as required under sub-section (2) of section 52 and section (2) of section 62 of the said Act;

NOW THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 65 of the said Act, the Government of Gujarat

hereby: -

(a) Sanction "the said Final Scheme" with modifications enumerated in SCHEDULE below;

(b) State that the said Final Scheme shall be kept open for inspection by the public at the office of the said authority during office hours of all working days;

(c) Fix the date of this notification as the date for the purpose of clause (b) of sub-section (2) of the section 65.

SCHEDULE

1. The column no.5 of case no. 12, 14, 19, 21, 22, 45, 46, 88, 89, 115, 117, 128 and column no.8 of case no. 153 of Redistribution and Valuation Statement are corrected as per Preliminary Town Planning Scheme sanctioned by Government Notification, Urban Development and Urban Housing Department No. GH/V/39 of 2020/TPS- 142020-1129-L, dated 08.06.2020 and the column no. 6(ક), 6(ખ) of case no. 12, 14, 19, 21, 22, 45, 46, 88, 89, 115, 117, 128 and column no.9(ક), 9(ખ), 10(ક), 10(ખ) of case no. 153 is modified accordingly.
