PART IV-B Rules and Orders (Other than those published in Parts I, I-A, and I-L) made by the Government of Gujarat under the Gujarat Acts URBAN DEVELOPMENT AND URBAN HOUSING DEPARTMENT NOTIFICATION Sachivalaya, Gandhinagar, 19th May, 2026 THE GUJARAT TOWN PLANNING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT ACT, 1976. No. GH/V/101 of 2026/UDUHD/MSM/MPMLA/18/2023/4496/L: WHEREAS, under Government Notification, Urban Development and Urban Housing Department No.GH/V/208 of 2012/UDA-112009-5533-L, dated 03.10.2012, under sub-section (1), (2), (2A), (5) of section 22 and sub-section 3 of section 23 of the Gujarat Town Planning and Urban Development Act, 1976 (President's Act No.27 of 1976) (hereby referred as “the said Act”), Himmatnagar Municipality and eleven surrounding villages area were declared as urban development area and Himmatnagar Urban Development Authority (hereinafter referred as "the said Authority") was constituted for the said urban development area mentioned in the schedule to the said notification dated 03.10.2012; IV-B Ex.-130 130-1130-2 GUJARAT GOVERNMENT GAZETTE, EX., 19-05-2026 [ PART IV-B AND WHEREAS, the State Government has received representation for dissolving the said Authority; AND WHEREAS, the Government of Gujarat is of the opinion that continued existence of the said Authority constituted under Section-22 of the said Act, vide notification no. GH/V/208 of 2012/UDA-112009-5533-L, dated 03.10.2012, is unnecessary; NOW THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 and sub-section (1) of section 120 of the said Act, the operation of the provisions of the said Act in the urban development area of said Authority, are hereby withdrawn and the Himmatnagar Urban Development Authority is dissolved and now ceases to exist with immediate effect.
