EDUCATION DEPARTMENT NOTIFICATION Sachivalaya, Gandhinagar, 16th March, 2026 Gujarat Professional Technical Educational Colleges or Institutions (Regulation of Admission and Fixation of Fess) Act, 2007. GH/SH/13/2026/PVS/102020/471/S:- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 20 read with section 4 of the Gujarat Professional Technical Educational Colleges or Institutions (Regulation of Admission and Fixation of Fees) Act, 2007 (Guj. 2 of 2008), the Government of Gujarat hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Master of Planning Courses (Regulation of Admission and Payment of Fees) Rules, 2020, namely: - 1. Short Title and Commencement. – (1) These rules may be called the Master of Planning Courses (Regulation of Admission and Payment of Fees) (Amendment) Rules, 2026. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Master of Planning Courses (Regulation of Admission and Payment of Fees) Rules, 2020, (hereinafter referred to as “the said rules”), in rule 2, in sub-rule (1), after clause (e), the following clause shall be inserted, namely: - “(ee) “Biannual Admission” means the admission process notified by AICTE in line with the UGC Instructions No. F.1-2/2024 (CPP -II) (C.No. 143903), dated the 19th June, 2024, regarding Biannual Admissions in Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) and the Circular issued by AICTE, AICTE/RB/2025 /01/04/Biannual Admission, dated the 8th January, 2025. 5051 GUJARAT GOVERNMENT GAZETTE, 09-04-2026 [ PART IV-B Explanation.- For the purpose of these rules, - (i) “July Session” shall mean the regular phase of admission process which shall commence in the month of July after the declaration of the result of the Qualifying Examination; (ii) “January Session” shall mean the second phase of admission process which shall commence in the month of January upon completion and formal declaration of the entire admission process of the July Session.”. 3. In the said rules, in rule 4, after Para B, the following Para shall be added, namely: – “C. Biannual Admission Seats:- (1) Upon completion and formal declaration of the entire admission process for the July Session by the Admission Committee, any vacancy arising on account of non-allotment of seats, after offering admission to candidates whose names appear in the merit list for the respective seats defined under this rule as Para A and B shall be considered as available seats: Provided that for the admissions in Government and Grant - in-Aid Institutes for January Session, the admission process shall be carried out only in those programs of corresponding Institutes where a minimum of thirty (30) or more vacant (non -allotted) seats are available after the completion of the July Session admission process and approved by the Education Department for the corresponding academic year. These seats shall be filled as Government Seats: Provided further that for the admissions in Un -aided Institutes, including Centre of Excellence (CoE) Institutions, for the January Session, the admission process shall be carried out only in those programs of the corresponding Institutes where the consent provided by the respective Institute /University for admission against available vacant seats arising due to non -allotment. Such seats shall be filled as Management Seats.”. 4. In the said rules, in rule 15, after Para B, the following Para shall be added, namely: - “C. Biannual Admission Seats:- The Admission Committee shall notify the admission process for the January Session through circulation on its website and in leading newspapers in accordance with the AICTE guidelines from time to time. The Admission Committee shall publish the available seats for admission into Government, Grant -in-Aid and Self-Financed Institutes. (1) The admission process for Government and Grant -in-Aid institutes shall be carried out by the Admission Committee through online/offline mode in the following manner, namely: - The Admission Committee shall invite the applications from eligible candidates and prepare the merit list in the following order, namely:- (i) the names of candidates in same order of rank whose names appear in the merit list of the Admission Committee prepared for the January Session and who have secured admission in the July Session in any of the quota or seats; (ii) after allotting the seats to the candidates mentioned in clause (i) above, if seats remain vacant, the Admission Committee shall fill such seats by inviting the applications from the candidates whose names appear in the merit list of the Admission Committee prepared for the January Session and have not secured admission in the July Session; (iii) after allotting the seats to the candidates mentioned in clauses (i) and (ii) above, if seats remain vacant, the Admission Committee shall fill such seats by inviting the applications from the candidates who have cleared the qualifying examination with minimum eligibility criteria prescribed in rule 5 but have not appeared in Common Entrance Test of the corresponding academic year. The merit list shall be prepared on the basis of percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying examination. (2) The admission process for Un-aided Institutes including CoE Institutes shall be carried out at the respective institute level through online/offline mode in the following manner, namely: - The respective Institute shall invite the applications from eligible candidates and prepare the merit list in the following order, namely:–PART IV-B ] GUJARAT GOVERNMENT GAZETTE, 09-04-2026 52 (i) the names of candidates in same order of rank whose names appear in the merit list of the Admission Committee prepared for the January Session and who have secured admission in the July Session in any of the quota or seats; (ii) after allotting the seats to the candidates mentioned in clause (i) above, if seats remain vacant, the institute shall fill such seats by inviting the applications from the candidates whose names appear in the merit list of the Admission Committee prepared for the January Session and have not secured admission in July Session; (iii) after allotting the seats to the candidates mentioned in clauses (i) and (ii) above, if seats remain vacant, the Un-aided Institutes including CoE Institutes shall fill such seats by inviting the applications from the candidates who have cleared the qualifying examination with minimum eligibility criteria prescribed in rule 5 but have not appeared in Common Entrance Test of the corresponding academic year. GH/SH/16/2026/PVS/102020/285/S: - In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 20 read with section 4 of the Gujarat Professional Technical Educational Colleges or Institutions (Regulation of Admission and Fixation of Fees) Act, 2007 (Guj. 2 of 2008), the Government of Gujarat hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Master of Business Administration (Regulation of Admission and Payment of Fees) Rules, 2020, namely: - 1. Short Title and Commencement. - (1) These rules may be called the Master of Business Administration Course (Regulation of Admission and Payment of Fees) (Amendment) Rules, 2026. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Master of Business Administration (Regulation of Admission and Payment of Fees) Rules, 2020(hereinafter referred to as “the said rules”), in rule 2, in sub-rule (1), after clause (d), the following clause shall be inserted, namely: - “(dd) “Biannual Admission” means the admission process notified by the AICTE in line with the UGC Instructions No. F.1-2/2024 (CPP-II) (C.No. 143903), dated the 19th June, 2024, regarding biannual admissions in Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) and the Circular issued by the AICTE: AICTE/RB/2025/01/04/Biannual Admission, dated the 8th January,2025. In the said rules, in rule 13, after Para B the following Para C shall be added, namely:- “(C) Biannual Admission Seats: - The Admission Committee shall notify the admission process for January Session through circulation on its official website and in leading newspapers, in accordance with AICTE guidelines from time to time. The Admission Committee shall publish the available seats for admission into Government, Grant-in-Aid and Self-Finance Institutes. (1) The admission process for Government and Grant-in-Aid institutes shall be carried out by the Admission Committee, through online/offline mode in the following manner, namely: - The Admission Committee shall invite the applications from eligible candidates and prepare the merit list in the following order, namely: - (i) the names of candidates in same order of rank whose names appear in the merit list of the Admission Committee prepared for July Session and who have secured admission in July Session in any of the quota or seats; (ii) after allotting the seats to the candidates mentioned in clause (i) above, if seats remain vacant, the Admission Committee shall fill such seats by inviting the applications from the candidates whose names appear in the merit list of July Session prepared by the Admission Committee and have not secured admission in July Session; (iii) after allotting the seats to the candidates mentioned in clauses (i) and (ii) above, if seats remain vacant, the Admission Committee shall fill such seats by inviting the application from the candidates who; (a) have passed the qualifying examination from any of the Universities or institutes; or (b) have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination (Standard XII, 10+2 pattern) or equivalent from any school, situated in the State of Gujarat, with the minimum eligibility criteria prescribed in rule 5, and have appeared in the Common Management Aptitude Test (CMAT) of the corresponding academic year but have not registered in July session; (iv) after allotting the seats to the candidates mentioned in clauses (i) to (iii) above, if seats remain vacant, the Admission Committee shall fill such seats by inviting the application from the candidates who; (a) have passed the qualifying examination from any Universities or institutes; and (b) have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination (Standard XII, 10+2 pattern) or equivalent from any school, situated outside the State of Gujarat with the minimum eligibility criteria prescribed in rule 5, and have appeared in the Common Management Aptitude Test (CMAT) of the corresponding academic year but have not registered in July session; (v) after allotting the seats to the candidates mentioned in clauses (i) to (iv) above, if seats remain vacant, the Admission Committee shall fill such seats by inviting the application from the candidates, who have cleared the qualifying examination with the minimum eligibility criteria prescribed in rule 5, but not appeared in the Common Management Aptitude Test (CMAT) as prescribed by the AICTE for thePART IV-B ] GUJARAT GOVERNMENT GAZETTE, 09-04-2026 54 corresponding academic year. The merit list for such candidates shall be prepared on the basis of percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying examination. (2) The admission process for Unaided Institutes including CoE institutes shall be carried out at respective institute level through online/offline mode in following manner, namely: - The respective institute shall invite the application from eligible candidates and prepare the merit list in the following order, namely: - (i) the names of candidates in same order of rank whose names appear in the merit list of July Session prepared by the Admission Committee and who have secured admission in July Session in any of the quota or seats; (ii) after allotting the seats to the candidates mentioned in clause (i) above, if seats remain vacant, the institute shall fill such seats by inviting the applications from the candidates whose names appear in the merit list of the Admission Committee prepared for July Session and have not secured admission in July Session; (iii) after allotting the seats to the candidates mentioned in clauses (i) and (ii) above, if seats remain vacant, the institute shall fill such seats by inviting the applications from the candidates who have cleared the qualifying examination from any Universities or institutes with the minimum eligibility criteria prescribed in rule 5, and have appeared in the Common Management Aptitude Test (CMAT) of the corresponding academic year but have not registered in July Session; (iv) after allotting the seats to the candidates mentioned in clauses (i) to (iii) above, if seats remain vacant, the institute shall fill such seats by inviting the application from the candidates, who have cleared the qualifying examination with the minimum eligibility criteria prescribed in rule 5, and have not appeared in the Common Management Aptitude Test (CMAT) as prescribed by the AICTE for the corresponding academic year. GH/SH/17/2026/PVS/102020/13(Pa.Fa.-1)/S: - In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 20 read with section 4 of the Gujarat Professional Technical Educational Colleges or Institutions (Regulation of Admission and Fixation of Fees) Act, 2007 (Guj. 2 of 2008), the Government of Gujarat hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Bachelor of Engineering and Technology (Regulation of Admission and Payment of Fees) Rules, 2020, namely: - 1. Short Title and Commencement. - (1) These rules may be called the Bachelor of Engineering and Technology (Regulation of Admission and Payment of Fees) (Amendment) Rules, 2026. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Bachelor of Engineering and Technology (Regulation of Admission and Payment of Fees) Rules, 2020 (hereinafter referred to as “the said rules”), in rule 2, in sub-rule (1), after clause(b), the following clause (bb) shall be inserted namely:- “(bb) “Biannual Admission” means the admission process notified by the AICTE In line with the UGC Instructions55 GUJARAT GOVERNMENT GAZETTE, 09-04-2026 [ PART IV-B No. F.1-2/2024 (CPP-II) (C.No. 143903) dated the 19th June, 2024, regarding biannual admissions in Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) and the Circular issued by the AICTE:AICTE/RB/2025/01/04/Biannual Admission, dated the 8th January, 2025. (1) The admission process for Government and Grant-in-Aid Institutes shall be carried out by Admission Committee through online/offline mode in the following manner, namely: - The Admission Committee shall invite the applications from eligible candidates and prepare the merit list in the following order, namely: - (i) the names of candidates in same order of rank whose names appear in the merit list of July Session declared online by the Admission Committee and who have secured admission in July Session in any of the quota or seats; (ii) after allotting the seats to the candidates mentioned in clause (i) above, if seats remain vacant, the Admission Committee shall fill such seats by inviting the applications from the candidates whose names appear in the merit list of July Session declared online by the Admission Committee and have not secured admission in July Session; (iii) after allotting the seats to the candidates mentioned in clauses (i) and (ii) above, if seats remain vacant, the Admission Committee shall fill such seats by inviting the applications from the candidates who havePART IV-B ] GUJARAT GOVERNMENT GAZETTE, 09-04-2026 56 cleared the qualifying examination with the minimum eligibility criteria prescribed in rule 5 from schools located in the State of Gujarat, and shall have appeared in the JEE (Main) / GUJCET Examination of the corresponding academic year, but have not registered in July session. The merit list for such candidates shall be prepared on the basis of the Entrance Examination; (iv) after allotting the seats to the candidates mentioned in clauses (i) to (iii) above, if seats remain vacant, the Admission Committee shall fill such seats by inviting the applications from the candidates, who have cleared the qualifying examination with the minimum eligibility criteria prescribed in rule 5 from schools located outside the State of Gujarat but within India, and have appeared in the JEE (Main) / GUJCET examination of the corresponding academic year but have not registered in July Session. The merit list for such candidates shall be prepared on the basis of the Entrance Examination; (v) after allotting the seats to the candidates mentioned in clauses (i) to (iv) above, if seats remain vacant, the Admission Committee shall fill such seats by inviting the applications from the candidates, who have cleared a Diploma in Engineering or a Degree in Science with the minimum eligibility criteria as defined by the AICTE. The merit list for such candidates shall be prepared on the basis of the theory marks obtained in the final year; (vi) after allotting the seats to the candidates mentioned in clauses (i) to (v) above, if seats remain vacant, the Admission Committee shall fill such seats by inviting the applications from the candidates, who have cleared the qualifying examination with the minimum eligibility criteria prescribed in rule 5 from schools located in India, including the State of Gujarat and, have not appeared in the JEE(Main) / GUJCET in the corresponding academic year. The merit list for such candidates shall be prepared on the basis of theory marks obtained in the qualifying subjects from recognized Boards. (2) The admission process for Unaided Institutes including CoE institutes shall be carried out at the respective institute level through online/offline mode in the following manner, namely: - The respective institute shall invite the applications from eligible candidates and prepare the merit list in the following order, namely: - (i) the names of candidate in same order of rank whose names appear in the merit list of July Session declared online by the Admission Committee, and who have secured admission in July Session in any of the quota or seats; (ii) after allotting the seats to the candidates mentioned in clause (i) above, if seats remain vacant, the institute shall fill such seats by inviting the applications from the candidates whose names appear in the merit list of July Session declared online by the Admission Committee, and have not secured admission in July Session; (iii) after allotting the seats to the candidates mentioned in clauses (i) and (ii) above, if seats remain vacant, the institute shall fill such seats by inviting the applications from the candidates who have cleared the qualifying examination with minimum eligibility criteria prescribed in rule 5 from schools located in India, including the State of Gujarat and have appeared in the JEE (Main) / GUJCET examination of the corresponding academic year but have not registered in July session. The merit list for such candidates shall be prepared on the basis of the Entrance Examination. (iv) after allotting the seats to the candidates mentioned in clauses (i) to (iii) above, if seats remain vacant, the Admission Committee shall fill such seats by inviting the applications from the candidates, who have cleared a Diploma in Engineering or a Degree in Science with the minimum eligibility criteria as defined57 GUJARAT GOVERNMENT GAZETTE, 09-04-2026 [ PART IV-B by the AICTE. Short Title and Commencement. - (1) These rules may be called the Master of Engineering and Technology and Master of Pharmacy Courses (Regulation of Admission and Payment of Fees) (Amendment) Rules, 2026. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Master of Engineering and Technology and Master of Pharmacy Courses (Regulation of Admission and Payment of Fees) Rules, 2020 (herein after referred to as “said rules”), in rule 2, in sub-rule (1), after clause (e) the following clause (ee) shall be inserted, namely: - “(ee) “Biannual Admission” means the admission process notified by AICTE in line with the UGC Instructions No. F.1-2/2024 (CPP-II) (C.No. 143903) dated the 19th June,2024, regarding biannual admissions in Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) and the Circular issued by AICTE: AICTE/RB/2025/01/04/Biannual Admission, dated, the 8th January,2025. Such seats shall be filled as Management Seats: If any Government, Grant-in-Aid and Unaided Institutes including CoE institutes, are granted permission for new intake for January Session by the statutory authority or AICTE, the admission process for Government Seats at such institutes shall be conducted by the Admission Committee, and the admission process for Management Seats shall be conducted by respective Unaided (including notified CoE institutions) institutes, in accordance with the prevailing admission rules for the Master of Engineering and Technology.”. 4. In the said rules, in rule 14, after Para B the following Para C shall be added, namely: - “(C) Biannual Admission Seats: - The Admission Committee shall notify the admission process for the January Session through circulation on its official website and in leading newspapers, in accordance with the AICTE guidelines from time to time. The Admission Committee shall publish the available seats for admission into Government, Grant-in-Aid and Self- Finance Institutes. (1) The admission process for Government and Grant-in-Aid institutes shall be carried out by the Admission Committee, through online/offline mode in the following manner, namely: - The Admission Committee shall invite the applications from eligible candidates and prepare the merit list in the following order, namely: - (i) the name of candidates in same order of rank whose names appear in the merit list of the Admission Committee prepared for July Session and who have secured admission in July Session in any of the quota or seats; (ii) after allotting the seats to the candidates mentioned in clause (i) above, if seats remain vacant, the Admission Committee shall fill such seats by inviting the applications from the candidates whose names appear in the merit list of July Session prepared by the Admission Committee and have not secured admission in July Session; (iii) after allotting the seats to the candidates mentioned in clauses (i) and (ii) above, if seats remain vacant, the Admission Committee shall fill such seats by inviting the application from the candidates who; (a) have passed the qualifying examination from any Universities or institutes; or (b) have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination (Std. XII, (10+2) pattern) from any school, or have obtained a Diploma in Engineering from any Universities or institutes, situated in the State of Gujarat, with the minimum eligibility criteria prescribed in rule 5, and have either obtained the valid qualifying marks in the GATE in the relevant discipline for engineering, or appeared in the Common Entrance Test (CET) of the corresponding academic year in the relevant discipline but have not registered in July Session. (iv) after allotting the seats to the candidates mentioned in clauses (i) to (iii) above, if seats remain vacant, the Admission Committee shall fill such seats by inviting the application from the candidates who; (a) have passed the qualifying examination from any Universities or institutes; and (b) have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination (Std. XII, (10+2) pattern) from any school, or obtained a Diploma in Engineering from any Universities or institutes, situated outside the State of Gujarat with the minimum eligibility criteria prescribed in rule 5, and have either obtained the valid qualifying marks in the GATE in the relevant discipline for engineering. or appeared in the Common Entrance Test (CET) of the corresponding academic year in the relevant discipline but have not registered in July Session;59 GUJARAT GOVERNMENT GAZETTE, 09-04-2026 [ PART IV-B (v) after allotting the seats to the candidates mentioned in clauses (i) to (iv) above, if seats remain vacant, the Admission Committee shall fill such seats by inviting the application from the candidates, who have cleared the qualifying examination with the minimum eligibility criteria prescribed in rule 5, but have neither qualified in the GATE nor appeared in the Common Entrance Test of the corresponding academic year, conducted by the Admission Committee. The merit list for such candidates shall be prepared on the basis of the percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying examination. (2) The admission process for Unaided Institutes including CoE institutes shall be carried out at respective institute level through online/offline mode in the following manner, namely: - The respective institute shall invite the application from eligible candidates and prepare the merit list in the following order, namely: - (i) the names of candidates in same order of rank whose names appear in the merit list of July Session prepared by the Admission Committee and who have secured admission in July Session in any of the quota or seats; (ii) after allotting the seats to the candidates mentioned in clause (i) above, if seats remain vacant, the institute shall fill such seats by inviting the applications from the candidates whose names appear in the merit list of the Admission Committee prepared for July Session and have not secured admission in July Session; (iii) after allotting the seats to the candidates mentioned in clauses (i) and (ii) above, if seats remain vacant, the institute shall fill such seats by inviting the applications from the candidates who have cleared the qualifying examination from any Universities or institutes with the minimum eligibility criteria prescribed in rule 5, and have either obtained the valid qualifying marks in the GATE in the relevant discipline for engineering, or have appeared at the Common Entrance Test (CET) of the corresponding academic year for the relevant discipline but have not registered in July Session; (iv) after allotting the seats to the candidates mentioned in clauses (i) to (iii) above, if seats remain vacant, the institute shall fill such seats by inviting the application from the candidates, who have cleared the qualifying examination with the minimum eligibility criteria prescribed in rule 5, but have neither qualified in the GATE nor appeared in the Common Entrance Test of the corresponding academic year, conducted by the Admission Committee. GH/SH/19/2026/PVS/102020/285/S:- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 20 read with section 4 of the Gujarat Professional Technical Educational Colleges or Institutions (Regulation of Admission and Fixation of Fees) Act, 2007 (Guj. 2 of 2008), the Government of Gujarat hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Master of Computer Application (Regulation of Admission and Payment of Fees) Rules, 2020, namely: - 1. Short Title and Commencement. - (1) These rules may be called the Master of Computer Application (Regulation of Admission and Payment of Fees) (Amendment) Rules, 2026. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.PART IV-B ] GUJARAT GOVERNMENT GAZETTE, 09-04-2026 60 2. In the Master of Computer Application (Regulation of Admission and Payment of Fees) Rules, 2020 (herein after referred to as “said rules), in rule 2, in sub-rule (1), after clause (c), the following clause shall be inserted, namely: - “(cc) “Bi Annual Admission” means the admission process notified by AICTE in line with the UGC Instructions No. F.1-2/2024 (CPP-II) (C.No. 143903) dated the 19th June, 2024, regarding biannual admissions in Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) and the Circular issued by AICTE: AICTE/RB/2025/01/04/Biannual Admission. Dated the 8th January, 2025. Explanation. - For the purpose of these rules, - (i) “July Session” shall mean the regular phase of admission process which shall commence in the month of July after the declaration of the result of the Qualifying Examination; (ii) “January Session” shall mean the second phase of admission process which shall commence in the month of January upon completion and formal declaration of the entire admission process of the July Session.”. 3. In the said rules in rule 4, after Para B, the following Para shall be added, namely:- “ C. Biannual Admission Seats: - (1) Upon completion and formal declaration of the entire admission process for the July session by the Admission Committee, any vacancy arising on account of non-allotment of seats, after offering admission to candidates whose names appear in the merit list of the respective seats defined under Para A and B shall be considered as available seats: Provided that for the admissions in Government and Grant in-Aid institutes for January Session, the admission process shall be carried out only in those programs of the corresponding institutes where a minimum of thirty (30) or more vacant (non-allotted) seats are available after the completion of the July admission process and approved by the Education Department for the corresponding academic year. Such seats shall be filled as Government Seats: Provided further that admissions into Unaided Institutes, including CoE Institutions for January Session, the admission process shall be carried out only in those programs of the corresponding institutes where the consent provided by the respective institute/University for admission against available vacant seats arise due to non-allotment. Such seats shall be filled as Management Seats.”. 4. In the said rules, in rule 13, after Para B, the following Para shall be added, namely:- “C. Biannual Admission Seats: - The Admission Committee shall notify the admission process for January Session through circulation on its official website and in leading newspapers, in accordance with AICTE guidelines from time to time. The Admission Committee shall publish the available seats for admission in Government, Grant-in-Aid and Self-Finance institutes. (1) The admission process for Government and Grant-in-Aid institutes shall be carried out by the Admission Committee, through online/offline mode in the following manner, namely: - The Admission Committee shall invite the application from eligible candidates and prepare the merit list in the following order, namely: - (i) the names of candidates in same order of rank whose names appear in the merit list of the Admission Committee prepared for July Session and who have secured admission in July Session in any of the quota or seats; (ii) after allotting the seats to the candidates mentioned in clause (i) above, if seats remain vacant, the Admission Committee shall fill such seats by inviting the application from the candidates whose names appear in the merit list of July Session prepared by the Admission Committee and have not secured admission in July Session. (iii) after allotting the seats to the candidates mentioned in clauses (i) and (ii) above, if seats remain vacant, the Admission Committee shall fill such seats by inviting the application from the candidates who; (a) have passed the qualifying examination from any Universities or institutes; or61 GUJARAT GOVERNMENT GAZETTE, 09-04-2026 [ PART IV-B (b) have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination (Standard XII, (10+2) pattern) or equivalent from any schools situated in the State of Gujarat, with the minimum eligibility criteria prescribed in rule 5, and have appeared in the Common Management Aptitude Test (CMAT) of the corresponding academic year but have not registered in July session; (iv) after allotting the seats to the candidates mentioned in clauses (i) to (iii) above, if seats remain vacant, the Admission Committee shall fill such seats by inviting the application from the candidates who; (a) have passed the qualifying examination from any Universities or institutes; and (b) have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination (Standard XII, (10+2) pattern) or equivalent from any school situated outside the State of Gujarat with the minimum eligibility criteria prescribed in rule 5, and have appeared in the Common Management Aptitude Test (CMAT) of the corresponding academic year but have not registered in July session; (v) after allotting the seats to the candidates mentioned in clauses (i) to (iv) above, if seats remain vacant, the Admission Committee shall fill such seats by inviting the application from the candidates, who have cleared the qualifying examination with the minimum eligibility criteria prescribed in rule 5, but not appeared in the Common Management Aptitude Test (CMAT) as prescribed by AICTE for the corresponding academic year. The merit list for such candidates shall be prepared on the basis of percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying examination. (2) The admission process for Unaided Institutes including CoE institutes shall be carried out at respective institute level through online/offline mode in the following manner, namely: - The respective institute shall invite the application from eligible candidates and prepare the merit list in the following order, namely:- (i) the name of candidates in same order of rank whose names appear in the merit list of July Session prepared by the Admission Committee and who have secured admission in July Session in any of the quota or seats; (ii) after allotting the seats to the candidates mentioned in clause (i) above, if seats remain vacant, the institute shall fill such seats by inviting the application from the candidates whose names appear in the merit list of the Admission Committee prepared for July Session and have not secured admission in July Session; (iii) after allotting the seats to the candidates mentioned in clauses (i) and (ii) above, if seats remain vacant, the institute shall fill such seats by inviting the applications from the candidates who have cleared the qualifying examination from any of the Universities or institutes with the minimum eligibility criteria prescribed in rule 5, and have appeared in the Common Management Aptitude Test (CMAT) of the corresponding academic year but have not registered in July Session; (iv) after allotting the seats to the candidates mentioned in clauses (i) to (iii) above, if seats remain vacant, the institute shall fill such seats by inviting the application from the candidates, who have cleared the qualifying examination with the minimum eligibility criteria prescribed in rule 5, and have not appeared in the Common Management Aptitude Test (CMAT) as prescribed by the AICTE for the corresponding academic year.
